For many, the 'bucket list' chance of flying in a Spitfire or Mustang had been impossible. Twin-seat aircraft that could accommodate passengers in the UK existed, but regulations used to prevent purchase of a flight. Thankfully, the rules changed in September 2014 to permit such trips and suddenly a world of possibilities beckoned.
