Vintage Pair Chipmunks land Strong sponsorship

Strong Enterprises, the US-based parachute company that "sells life" is backing the Vintage Pair display team in its debut season. Formed by David Petters and Jon Higgins, who fly Chipmunks (see November 2018 issue) the duo has become the first non-American airshow act sponsored by the firm. John Hawke of Strong Enterprises said: "This year brings a new opportunity to widen our veil of protection across Europe, through the sponsorship of the Vintage Pair, a unique team whose fondness for classic aircraft, and displaying them, foster both introduction and remembrance across the continent. Through the passion of two pilots, the legacy of the aircraft they fly lives on with a little help from a Strong partner."
