Many people think it's impossible and put that dream away. Others seek a path to get into the awe-inspiring world of helicopter flight. There are many paths to that goal, but they don't get a lot of publicity. Instead, we hear about well-established Part 135 commercial operators who've been in business forever and have huge fleets ― like offshore operator Petroleum Helicopters in Louisiana or airmedical-specialist Air Methods in Colorado. Or we hear about the deep-pocketed owners, like large corporations or TV stations.
