It took a miracle for Jeff Skiles to fall in love with aviation again

By now, you certainly know what happened on January 15,2009. Two U.S. Airways.pilots gracefully and flawlessly set their Airbus A320 down in the Hudson River. All 155 passengers went home to their families and Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger and First Officer Jeffrey Skiles were hailed as the herons of "The Miracle On The Hudson." Jeff modestly, but sincerely, maintains it was no miracle at ail. "I firmly believe that if two other U.S. Airways pilots were in that cockpit, they wouid have done the same things we did. And that's really the story." But, for Jeff Skiles, it was the beginning of a whole other story.
