The FAA has adopted less onerous procedures for aircraft operators seeking to block their tail numbers from the websites of flight-tracking providers like flightaware.com. The National Business Aviation Association led the fight to allow aircraft operators to block their aircraft identification after the FAA imposed restrictions on who could request blocking and for what reason.
