Sitting on the porch one summer day, my father and I watched small planes fly overhead near Sussex Airport in New Jersey. We wondered if it would be possible for us to actually fly. The idea was quickly put out of my head because who could afford to take flying lessons and actually own an airplane? Not too long after that, he and I thought about flying model airplanes as a substitute. He went out shopping for one, not really knowing what would be best for us. The plane he brought home didn't turn out too well. It didn't go together well, seemed pretty weak, and didn't really make us think it would fly very well.
