Planes of Feather: Park and Slow Hawks

The Toledo Exposition turned 49 and the WRAM Show turned 35 this year. Both are the longest running commercial model expositions in our hobby. And each year they continue to draw a sometimes crushing number of modelers. Aisles are jammed as people circulate among the vendors' booths. But one of the biggest draws for both shows continues to be the static display models. Each year a healthy and stunning diversity of aircraft, as well as ships, and vehicles, fill the display tables and leave modelers gawking at what has to be the pinnacle of modeling ingenuity, craftsmanship, and creativity. The aircraft range from the sport to scale old favorites to.unique, obscure types, pre-WWI to the present day.
