You've got to love all the choices in quick-build foam flying wings. It seems like everyone is getting in on the act. The folks at WattAge, a division of Global Hobbies, didn't want to be left out. They came up with a neat little plane that's even smaller and lighter than most of the competition. Enter the Hyper Wing 400 EP. The Hyper Wing comes in both a standard and deluxe kit. The Deluxe Kit contains a 15-amp speed control and an 8-cell 5/4 AAA Ni-MH battery pack. The deluxe kit saves you just shy of $20 versus buying all the parts separately. I was generously given a Deluxe Kit for this review along with the recommended receiver and servos. The parts arrived in good condition, but they weren't exceptionally well protected from one another. Everything was just kind of tossed into a box. There were a few minor dings in the foam wings, but nothing I'd complain about. Minimal packaging means less waste and lower costs, and the Hyper Wing is very reasonably priced.
