FOUR-STAR 40 ARf

Wow! There sure are a lot of "4's" in this review! 4 Star 40, .40 sized motor, 4-channel radio, 4 grandsons. Coincidence? Nah! We planned it that way. When Frank Fanel-li asked me if I'd like to review Sig's new Four Star 40 ARF, all of these mentioned fours popped into my head and I thought it just might be fun to carry that "4" theme to the extreme. Besides, getting all four grandsons into the magazine at the same time would greatly please their grandmother! This is not my first exposure to the Four Star series in the Sig product line. Back in the late 20th Century, (Dec 97), I had the privilege of reviewing the Four Star 60 for this magazine when just the kit was available. My impression back then was that the kit was very well designed, was totally laser-cut and literally fell together. I actually went back and read what I wrote then and the years had not diminished the positive impression I had of the entire . "system" review.
