Bikini Field Kit

After finishing the prototype "Precision Fuel Dispenser" (see FLYING Models, September 05) it served quite well for most quick outings but if you fly a Lite Machines or other helicopter that is not an electric powered unit, the regular field kit is still required in some capacity if for no other reason than you need the electric starter. You can hand prop the small fixed wing aircraft or even use one of the very small portable electric starters if your engine has the features that are required for electric starter application, but for the gas helicopter the hand prop option is a non-starter, no pun intended.
