Breaking them in: The various engine manufacturers have blessed us with plenty of well-built engines the last few years. Most of the newer ABC engines I've handled lately start and run very well compared to what we grew up with. They can fool us though. Even the newer engines take a fairly long time to break in and really run well. The low cost plain bearing engines that are particularly popular for Speed Limit Combat, such as the 25 LA, Thunder Tiger 25, OS 25FP and others in particular require a fairly extended break in.
