A SIMPLE FIELD TABLE

I've been an aero modeler for many decades. In my youth and throughout most of my flying years, my field work table was always the earth itself. Grass or not, all pre-flight tinkering was performed at ground level. This was never a problem, until more recent times. It seems that as years rolled by, certain "body bearings"—like knees—protested this practice! It just became harder to get down to where my plane was, and harder still to get up again when it was time to fly. I realized it was time for a field assistant. I realized I needed a field table!
