We all hate to lose a model but I have to admit, if you can do it with a unique tail first canard at the FAC Nats at Geneseo with maybe a hundred modelers watching, you get a thrill too. That's just what happened with my 2+ Tail Firster P-30 model from BMJR. The kit has very well selected wood, a bit harder than you might expect but perfect for the application. Laser cutting is precise and all parts fit as required. The plans are clear and easy to understand with plenty of pictures and assembly is fast and accurate. Flight trim is almost automatic as soon as you balance the model since canards are really hard to stall.
