A mini radio controlled car can be purchased for $9.88 at Wal-Mart or at many dollar stores for perhaps even less and with your choice of 27 or 49 MHz. I am sure that other stores of a similar nature also have mini R/C cars of one type or another that can be used to create indoor model airplanes. I have found that the radio receivers from larger cars usually are larger as well. The smaller receivers usually weigh approximately 1 gram.
