Champs 2006 Reflections

It looks like no matter the incentive, the proximity a modeler is to the field, the good or load reports about weather—no matter what—about 180 is the extent of attendance that can be expected at a SAM Champs. At least that's what we have had the last two years. True, there were lots of folks from outside the USA. Eight from Eng- land, two from Australia, two from Argentina, two from Canada and an Italian helped boost the number, and were enthusiastic contestants.
