The Pfalz "E" series was derived from the pre-war Morane-Saulnier monoplanes and built through a licensing agreement between the two manufacturers. Less than 150 of these Eindeckers were built and only 20 of the inline engined E.V.'s were ordered. Though inferior to the famous Fokker Eindeckers, the proportions of the Pfalz E.V. look right for scale free flight. The markings and colors also give the E.V. a very distinctive appearance.
