This time of year always sneaks up on me. All the activity of the flying season leaves me in high gear and a little late to downshift into a quieter, but still a very nice time of year. It's a time when many of us will "hibernate" in the workshop, and those in warmer climes will fly a little less. It's also a time for all of us to put the models aside for a brief period and be thankful for this wonderful hobby that gives so much pleasure, and more especially the wonderful people around us who we love and about whom we care. It's a time to celebrate the beauty of life.
