Reverse engineering: I am continuing the piece-by-piece examination of the construction of the definitive Russian/European F2D design, but I'm wandering a bit from the air-frames and looking at how they build the loops on the ends of their flying cables. Over the years I have seen many AMA pilots use brass eyelets at the terminals and wrap the cables with light copper serving wire.
