Ron Boots and Tom Lay have been responsible for a renewed interest in compressed air models. There's something fascinating about a Hoosier Whirlwind, and you certainly have to agree that compressed air is about as clean a fuel as you can get. The photo that accompanies this column shows the modem way to get things "pumped up". I've seen several different Southern California modelers building models for the compressed air event at this year's Champs, and there should be something interesting to see.
