Winged Shadow Systems announces the first self-powered altimeter that is suitable for all types of flying models. The How High SP combines the company's popular How High altimeter with a battery and switch to create a stamp-sized Vi-ounce unit. Having no connectors or wires, the product is completely self-contained.rnOn most models, the How High SP is simply positioned inside the fuselage. It can be mounted with tape, a patch of hook and loop fastener, or just wedged in place with a piece of foam. There is nothing to plug in or attach, so it is easy to move from plane to plane. Since it has its own battery, it is ideal for models without power-like freeflight planes and rockets.
