Reading the September "F/F Sport" column brought forth memories from the '30s and '40s. Stratosphere is a beautiful model. My childhood friend's older brother built one, and as I remember, a well-built clean model. Don't remember seeing it fly but Paul Mayekawa and I just looked at it, fantasizing how it would fly.
