When the General Aviation Skyfarer came out somewhere in the 1930's I think it cost about $3000.00 which was much too expensive for thosernDepression times. The airplane had a very interesting feature. I believe the rudders and ailerons were mechanically linked so you could steer into a turn just like a car. I think it was also advertised as "spin proof. Add tricycle landing gear and you have a really snazzy model. The laser-cut parts from Bob Holman make the model (originally from an Earl Stahl plan) a snap to build even with the complex fuselage cross section. Wood selection is outstanding and plans and illustrations flow smoothly.
