It has been many years since the last "Project Pattern" appeared in the pages of FM, but that established tradition returns, this time in the form of "Project Foamy". Certainly the use of foam itself is nothing new to modelers in virtually all R/C, C/L, and F/F disciplines, and foam material itself is not the focus of Project Foamy. Rather, Project Foamy will delve into the details of one of the newest genres of R/C, the electric powered foam flat plate indoor aerobats that exploded onto the scene soon after the availability of lithium batteries.
