Modular systems aren't anything new to model airplanes. Their use has varied from swapping just a power pod, or a radio system or doing both. Sometimes it worked well, sometimes not. When successful it offered two or more planes in "one". The idea has always been pretty appealing. Pull the system out, plug it into another plane and try a different sort of flying. Guillow's is a well-known name among hobbyists for their extensive line of free-flight planes, and now has recently entered the R/C field by way of a neat new modular system they call Snap&Fly. This new entry offers three planes in one package.
