Monster Planes USA is the first US event held just for the biggest R/C airplanes that dare to fly! Pilots and spectators come from all over the US and Canada to attend this annual event in the Florida sun. Held at Lakeland/Linder airport in Lakeland, FL, this event was flown on its own specially prepared runway at the Airport. Highlights include: Robert Curry's Fleet Biplane, Brian O'Meara's Big P-47, Rei Gonzalez's F-4, Arnold Marcus's F8F Bearcat (Cover), Randy Williams' AI biplane, Ed Buchholz's P-39, Ray Prossen's rotary engine Waco and Rich Uravitch's OV-10 Bronco.
