Larry Kruse is no slouch when it comes to model aviation. On top of his monthly column and reviews, he still finds time to build beautiful models like this Eindecker. Larry writes, "This is my newly completed Eindecker 40 from the Balsa USA kit. The plane spans a nominal 60 inches and is powered by a Saito .45 four- stroke, which provides both scale speed and sound. The model is covered in "Antique" Solartex with silver MonoKote simulating the metal covering ahead of the cockpit and the supplied ABS cowl sprayed with automotive paint.
