It was in the beginning of the 70ies when there was a "Flock table of regulars" but with changing participants, initiated by Gerd Bauer, at that time employee of Messrs. Collodin (a former manufacturer of flock adhesives). Experiences were exchanged casually and freely. The trade had to have its own communication platform. Ideal would be a trade related magazine. Dr. Brockmeier from Messrs. Bayer brought along a colleague, Mr. Reinhold Miiller, who worked in marketing of the fibres division and who from a former job had experiences as a journalist. There wasn't long thinking over but the matter was grappled.
