Looking back on the practice seminary 'Flock printing for textile printers' at the Institute for Textile- and Clothing Technique of the TU, Dresden, Germany

For the first time and together with the association of the flock industry Europe (reg.), on the 16th and 17th of March, 2004, a practice seminary was held at the Institute for Textile- and Clothing Technique of the TU Dresden, Germany (ITB). Chairing this event was Mr. Ulrich Maag from Messrs. FLOCK-TEC Technische Beflockungen GmbH. On two days, the 35 participants got a comprehensive theoretical and practical survey on direct flocking and the different techniques for transfer flock. Experts from the industry held interesting lectures on the basics of flocking including the requirements on adhesives and flock, on equipment and machinery for the flocking, including testing technique up to presenting the possibilities for a quality seal "Flock".
