18th Annual Meeting of AFA in New Orleans

The 18th Annual Business Meeting of the American Flock Association was held on Saturday October 25, 2003 at the Embassy Suites, New Orleans, LA. The attendance, consisting of only 27 persons - members, non-members and guests- has not turned out satisfactory compared to previous years when more interest in the meeting was noticed. AFA Chairman Ed Martin, Fifield Inc., welcomed the attendees; giving a report on the Association's activities since the last meeting. Mr. Martin's comments included an update on the current status of membership with a plea to members to actively recruit new members from their normal business contacts.
