Boeing and Bell seek Seoul deal

The US Defense Security Cooperation Agency has notified Congress of a possible Foreign Military Sales deal related to South Korea's AHX competition for 36 attack helicopters, with documents pricing a Boeing proposal linked to the AH-64D Block III Apache Longbow at $3.6 billion, and Bell Helicopter's offer of the AH-1Z "Zulu" at $2.6 billion. Both prices include support equipment, weapons, sensors, communications equipment and services, the DSCA says.
