Corrugated Specialty Folder-Gluers

In the corrugated industry, production of the basic RSC (regular slotted container) is typically done on a conventional flexo folder-gluer. When you step beyond the realm of straight-line boxes into the world of auto-lock bottoms, four- and six-corner trays, display bases and the like, however, the need for the specialty folder-gluer can be realized. Specialty folder-gluers have been around for more than 50 years. As with most anything, modern gluers are significantly different from those manufactured in the 1950s. In recent years, there have been important technological advances in electronics and their application to converting equipment. Today's specialty folder-gluers have benefited significantly from these advances.
