Technological advancements continue to impact the printing capabilities of today's flexographers. Advancements in the field on flexography, across the board, have enabled continuous improvements, broadening the graphic reproduction and the variety of packaging now visible in our market. A major part of these advancements has been the latest advancement in laser engraving technology for ceramic anilox rollers. These new ceramic anilox engraving technologies, combined with improvements in new inks, stickyback, digital polymer and presses continue to raise the bar of the quality of packaging in the narrow-web and-wide web segments of the flexographic industry, especially in regards to four color process printing.
