Thriving Among Competition: Dunwoody Takes Top Honors at Third College Phoenix Challenge

After facing off against 10 other colleges and universities, Dunwoody College of Technology, Minneapolis, MN, emerged on top to take the award of Overall Excellence in the Third Annual Phoenix Challenge College Competition. Students from each of the competing schools gathered in Las Vegas, NV on May 1 to present to a panel of judges. The challenge: to design a line of single-serve shampoos and soaps for a fictional hotel. Teams' solutions were evaluated on diverse criteria. In addition to Overall Excellence, awards were bestowed for Excellence in Research, Graphics, Concept and Execution.
