FIRST Certification at Hood Packaging Corp.

Budgeting for training needs within corporations can be challenging at times. Although the need is recognized, other capital budget needs, seem to get priority. The Hood Packaging Corp., Arden Hills, MN, facility decided to explore additional options for training support. After learning of the possibilities for state grant funding from the Flexographic Technical Association, inquires were made to the Minnesota Job Skills Partnership program (MJSP), to determine grant possibilities.
