For more than 20 years, CALSTART has been on the leading edge of new technologies in transportation and their commercialization, taking ideas through development and validation to production. All that is for naught, however, if end users won't put the new offerings into use. And that, said Bill Van Amburg, CALSTART Senior Vice President, is precisely why the non-profit organization's partnership with NAFA is so strategic: "Fleets, for us, offer a tremendous opportunity for early adoption," he said. "They know the business case for vehicles, and have a better sense than the average consumer what it costs to do their job."
