Major Career Moves For NAFA Regular Members Douglas Weichman, CAFM® And Sara Burnam, CAFM®

ON FEBRUARY 27, NAFA Regular Member Douglas Weichman, CAFM®, assumed the role of Fleet Management Director for the City of Gainesville, Florida. Sara Burnam, CAFM®, has been promoted to fill Weichman's position as Director of the Fleet Management Division for Palm Beach County. Weichman has been with Palm Beach County for over 26 years. Weichman follows in the footsteps of another NAFA Past President and Alumnus in Gainesville, Milton R. Reid who retired in 2013. Weichman credits NAFA's position as a powerhouse for networking with his ability to secure the new position. "Milton Reid was the person that recruited me (for the position)," Weichman said. "I currently know the majority of Gainesville's supervisory staff through NAFA and one of their primary job requirements was that the Director must be a Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM®)."
