USDOT Secretary Chao Announces New Automated Vehicle Guidelines at CES

A NEW SET OF guidelines regarding driverless cars and trucks was issued by the U.S. Department of Transportation on Jan. 8. The guidelines, dubbed Automated Vehicles 4.0, lean toward more of an emphasis on tech development than previous versions of the guidance.
