Leadership and change management consultancy SFL has announced that it is now working with a quarter of all fire brigades in the UK. This is, according to the company, in response to the challenges presented by the cultural transformation inherent in the change agenda.rnThis working takes the form of tailored leadership programmes which are designed to, in the company's words: "Get to the heart of managing and supporting the change process."rnThe Director of SFL's Fire and Rescue practice is John Roylance, an ex-RAF officer who has also attended incident command courses and spent time on watch at several fire and rescue services. He said: "Our first priority is tornreassure individual fire services we don't offer a 'catch all' approach. Each client is evaluated on its individual needs so it's essential we tailor our services to meet those. We also tackle issues at each level in the service so the messages filter from the bottom up as well as via the strategic leadership."
