Taking the lead on positive action

Fire and rescue services have approached Networking Women in the Fire Service (NWFS) many times for support with their positive action initiatives. The network team has helped at many such events, some successful some less successful. On each occasion there has been a feeling of frustration at reinventing the wheel, and it has become apparent that NWFS is well placed to take the initiative to support FRSs in this aspect of recruitment.
