Cheshire's royal ascent

From humble beginnings, the Princes Trust Programmes Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service that deliver have seen them being awarded the Princes Trust Delivery Partner of the year. They attained one of highest performance standards of returning 80 per cent of young people on the course into full time work or education. It began in 1993, when the service saw the opportunity to deliver Princes Trust programmes as an ideal way to engage with and inspire Cheshire's younger generation. It included some who were already displaying challenging and often anti-social behaviour traits, which would inevitably impact on the community.
