Fire heroes at BBC 999 Awards

Back in February 2012 the BBC got in touch with Chief Fire Officers Association HQ to discuss their plans for their first ever 999 Awards Show. The show was intended to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the first use of the 999 emergency number. The BBC were keen to work with CFOA to seek nominations from individuals and teams within the Fire and Rescue Service who have gone above and beyond the call of duty.
