Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service's new Pro-Tek Max suit is manufactured by Lion Apparel and incorporates a PBI® 220gm worsted gold outer fabric, and a waterproof, breathable CROSSTECH® Fireblocker® moisture barrier. The garments also utilise a unique new proprietary lining system, developed by Lion, that uses a special wicking technology to remove moisture and heat from the body.
