United Kingdom framework contract for Incident Management Software established for all public sector organisations

A new purchasing framework has just been announced by YPO, the UK's largest public sector buying organisation, which provides all United Kingdom emergency services and public sector organisations with a much simplified way of procuring Incident Command and Control software. VectorCommand is the only supplier that was able to meet the framework's requirements and its Command Support System™ (CSS) is now available for purchase for the first time without an organisation having to run a full OJEU procurement or pre-qualify suppliers and go through a complicated and lengthy tender process. This is a UK-wide framework agreement that is available to any public sector organisation and can be used to procure services both above and below the OJEU threshold. The framework, which will run from August 1, 2014 to July 31, 2018 and is valued at up to £20m over its lifetime, means that customers will simply need to contact the framework's supplier, VectorCommand, to establish a call off contract.
