Throughout its 50-year active involvement in the design and manufacture of world class firefighter PPE, Bristol has always retained full control over its design, production and lifetime garment managed services facilities. Today, all its product design and development takes place in the UK. Manufacture is located in the UK as well as factories in other parts of Europe. Its managed services are located in Bristol and London. Adopting an in-house strategy across all its business processes has provided a level of resilience which has, in turn, enabled the company to retain that vital close control over all aspects of services to customers at a time when the need to demonstrate continuity, and deliver reliability, is greater than ever.
