21st Annual Conference on Fire-Related Research and Developments (RE17)

This year's conference takes place on Thursday November 9, 2017 with the continuing support of the IFE. Each year this unique event in the fire calendar showcases current research studies and innovative projects with a view to helping shape the future nature and direction of evidence-based fire-related research and developments. Presentations this year cover a variety of subject areas ranging from, for example, the way legislation applies to fire investigators and proposals for enhancing the appointment of suitably qualified fire investigators to research examining the links between firefighter fitness assessments and ill-health retirement rates. Here we give a taster of some of the other subjects to be discussed.
