Fire on full throttle: a year of change ahead

When the language moves on from reform to change, the Minister for Policing and Fire is clearly determined to make progress during 2017 on the improvement journey. He set out his challenge to the Fire and Rescue Service in his speech at an event in London hosted by Reform on February 7 (see pg 14). Turning up at an event hosted by the same organisation as the one that saw the Home Secretary speak about the future of fire reform just nine months previously, much of the material is going to be similar.
