Charity calls on UK Fire and Rescue Service for help

Calling on past and present members of the Fire and Rescue Service to donate a one-off gift of £5 by texting RESPOND to 70660, the Your Charity Needs You campaign includes a video that was filmed in conjunction with staff from across Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service. 2015/16 saw the charity supporting over 5,000 beneficiaries, but the income it brought in through donations fell around £500,000 short of the total needed to operate its services.
