Igneo - a single point of reference for compliance and competence in the UK fire safety industry

When procuring fire safety services, there are a number of requirements that must be checked and verified, including, certification, memberships and insurance. Igneo brings this together in one platform which is free to use for the public or responsible persons for fire safety within buildings. With over 5,000 companies operating in the market and multiple third party certifications, there is not one single source of truth to highlight company demographics. This has created a chaotic and ultimately fragmented marketplace with over £3 billion worth of fire safety work occurring in the industry per annum. However, there is currently no national register to verify whether a company is competent and compliant.
