Fire Service College delivering operational firefighter apprenticeships

The programme is delivered through the FSC and Knowledgepool, both part of the Capita People Solutions business. The two-year programme is directly linked to the Operational Firefighter Apprentice Standard technical knowledge, skills and behaviours. Led by experienced and highly qualified instructors, learners will undergo a best-practice residential Firefighter Foundation Programme course at the FSC, making use of the world class training facilities including the largest range of carbonaceous training venues in Europe. Knowledgepool has been partnering with some of the UK's largest employers for over 11 years to deliver effective apprenticeship schemes, including public sector bodies such as the Ministry of Defence, Home Office, Ministry of Justice and the Department of Work and Pensions.
