The UK Fire Service has changed radically over the past 100 years. But while some threats remain broadly the same - fires of all kinds, flooding, civil emergencies - other new threats have emerged, such as terror attacks. Some things don't change, however - like the Fire Service's dedication, skill, bravery and support for the community, and its commitment to using the latest technologies and most effective operational procedures to protect public safety.
